What we need

A team is always looking for different aspects at any time. We want to figure out who you are and see if that‘s a match. We still value some core aspects that need to be in place.

Strong visual design skills.

At us Design is everything. Any team member needs to have a good idea of how to transfer great ideas into good looking designs. You might be stronger in Usability, that’s fair, we still ask you to also be hands on with design.

Fast thinking.

We like to talk, we like to collaborate but we also rely on your skill to think ahead. We need people that are able to think broader, think quicker and come to solutions we haven’t thought of so far.

Good presentation skills.

Communication and design go hand in hand. We believe in direct communication between each designer and the customer and even though there will always be someone experienced with you value if you can present your own ideas yourself.

Be someone.

It’s ok to be a bit weird, a bit different or just a nice person. We value you to be open and be yourself — also our clients love if you have an opinion and share it (in the right moment). We don’t want to make you one of us, we want us to also become a part of you.

Be proactive.

Although collaboration is part of our DNA, we also expect each other to be autonomous and service-oriented. If you see that a client just sent an email, answer it. If you plan to be out of the office, hand over your projects to another colleague. If you need more time to finish a design task, set expectations before a deadline passes.

Be positive.

Negative energy begets negative energy, which drains everyone of their motivation. That’s why we always assume positive intent whenever faced with disagreements, and “trust the process” when resolving issues or exploring better ways of doing things. We don’t always get it right the first time, but we’ll eventually get there – together.
